Apex Filling Systems acquired Chadam Consultants
As the new year begins, we are happy to announce a new chapter in our ongoing mission to help our customers succeed by automating their systems to save money: On January 9, 2019, Apex Filling Systems acquired Chadam Consultants, a packaging equipment supplier based in Westville, Indiana.
What this means for our customers is that we will be offering an even wider range of equipment while maintaining the same quality guarantee and commitment to relationship-based business that you already expect from us.
Michael Salyer, the co-owner of Chadam Consultants, will join the Apex team as a consultant, bringing with him many years of experience with filling, capping, and labeling projects. Mike earned his mill right journeyman’s card in 1986, and later became a service technician/installer at Electronic Liquid Fillers (ELF). From there he moved into sales and service management before he and his wife Beverly Salyer founded Chadam.
Mike’s experience in all aspects of meeting the automation needs of his customers has earned the respect and appreciation of his customers. As John Piscitelli of Koki Laboratories once posted, “I have been working with Mike Salyer for over twenty-five years and can say that he knows packaging. He has designed numerous filling lines for me over the years and is extremely knowledgeable at what he does.” Mike shares our commitment to customer satisfaction and dedication to helping clients succeed well past the point of sale.
If you are already familiar with the Chadam line, you will be pleased to know that it will remain the same, only now operating under the Apex umbrella.
