At Apex Filling Systems, it is our priority to maintain the health, safety, and overall wellness of our customers, our community, and our family of employees. We recognize that with the constantly changing COVID-19 situation around the world, this is an unprecedented time for everyone – a time that, for many, is filled with uncertainty. Our hearts and thoughts go out to each and every one of you.
I want you to know you have our commitment to continue providing you with the liquid filling equipment and services you depend on. At Apex Filling Systems, our mission is to create raving fans. This enduring mission guides us as we closely monitor, assess and respond to this situation.
As the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to unfold, we are following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as federal, state and local authorities, to ensure that we as an organization are doing what we can to provide the safest environment for everyone.
On Monday, March 23, Governor Eric Holcomb announced a “Stay at home” initiative effectively closing Indiana non-essential businesses. For purposes of Executive Order 20-08, “essential business,” means: All manufacturing companies, distributors and supply chain companies producing and supplying essential products and services in or for industries, such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, technology, biotechnology, chemicals and Sanitization, agriculture, waste pickup and disposal, food and beverage, transportation, energy, steel and steel products, petroleum, fuel, mining, construction, national defense, communications, and products used by other essential business and operations. As a supplier of liquid filling equipment to many of the industries mentioned, this allows us to stay open and support our customers with critical filling, capping and labeling equipment that is used across a wide array of applications to keep people safe.
We are dedicated to our customers and our commitments. Please continue to be in touch with us regarding any restrictions, safety procedures, or specifics that we should be made aware of as our team is doing everything, we can to ensure our manufacturing and shipping efforts continue to operate normally. At this time, we have not experienced major disruptions to our production, inventory or lead times.
Among the measures we are taking to protect our employees and ensure our customers receive the products that they need are:
We continue to promote the CDC guidelines, especially staying home if team members feel ill.
Business travel has been restricted for all employees.
We have increased the sanitation efforts in our facilities and work areas.
These precautionary measures have been taken to limit the potential spread of the virus, to support our employees in this challenging time and to ensure we maintain our ability to serve you, our customer, for the long term. Our leadership team remains vigilant and is monitoring the situation in real time and responding rapidly as conditions evolve.
We are resilient at Apex Filling Systems and we will continue to navigate this unprecedented crisis with determination. We are prepared to deal with the evolving conditions. We appreciate your partnership as we learn more and continue to communicate with you, our valued customers. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Please be safe and stay healthy.
Sincerely,
Alicia Cannon, CEO
