This is the time of year that everyone starts talking about New Years Resolutions or at the very least goals for the coming year. The disappointing truth is that 80% of New Year’s Resolutions fail by February according to Business Insider.
In order for things to change for you, you must change. Said another way; nothing can change until something changes. This week I am going to share with you Tony Robbins’ Ultimate Success Formula (with my notes).
The Ultimate Success Formula:
1. Know your outcome – Clarity is power!
2. Know your reasons why. – Why is it a must? Change is never a matter of ability. It’s always a matter of motivation. Think about if someone threatened your family…you could find a way. It’s about motivation. Find your why!
3. Take massive action. – Never leave the scene of a big decision without taking some action. Decide and commit.
4. Know what you are getting.
5. Change your approach. – If what you are doing isn’t working don’t give up try another approach, and another and another…..Keep changing your approach until you meet your outcome. As Tony says “How many tries would you give the average baby before you said; “Just give up already, you’re not a walker.”?”
Progress = Happiness- We have convinced ourselves to believe that we will be happy when we get there. That is a lie. The happiest you will ever be is when you are making progress.
