What do the two quotes above evoke within you? Is the idea that your life as you’ve been understanding it, is “just” a story inspiring or discouraging?
In other words, we like to think that we are experiencing and presenting something that is, more or less, the Absolute Truth about Reality. What if, however, you considered that perhaps your “Absolute Truth” is up to infinite interpretation, that the Story you’ve crafted is not only full of subjective elements, but that is itself “just” a story?
Does this concept annoy you?
Or do you find it comforting, perhaps even liberating, that the narrative you’ve spun is just that: a story? That you can work to change your “programming” and in turn change your story.
